“Hi there – my name is Nancy and I’ve been working as a consultant in the areas of Customer Management and Costumer Experience at Mercedes-Benz Consulting for half a year now. Since I have always been intrigued by consulting, I took the chance to work at Mercedes-Benz Consulting after my studies.
After joining MC, I took part in our internal consultant qualification program. The first level of the program is the Green Line the second level is the Blue Line. Whether I had consulting experience or not, I found it to be a valuable training opportunity for my professional development. A Green Line consultant qualification involves a weeklong intensive workshop. Together with a trainer colleague and a coach, we discussed classical analysis methods and their application – using real customer projects from our daily work – no fictitious case studies ;-). On the last day, each of us had a one-on-one coaching session.
The Green Line also includes four elective modules that focus on a wide variety of topics of which you can choose. These topics are then coached intensively over one or two days. For example, this could be moderation, presentation or storytelling.
At Mercedes-Benz Consulting, you don’t need the one consulting resume – I have many colleagues with very different backgrounds. I myself did my bachelor’s degree in tourism with a focus on marketing and then went on to do my master’s degree in business management.
Those who are fit in their topics, can work flexibly, have a passion for the automotive industry’s future, and are willing to learn every day will be supported and challenged at Mercedes-Benz Consulting.”
