Award-winning for our innovative learning approach
What characterises successful eLearning? A question that is more relevant than ever in our digital world. Every year, the eLearning Journal presents the eLearning Award and honours innovative projects that focus on technology-driven solutions in corporate training.
Our team, Learning Concepts & Solutions, has won this year’s award in the “Virtual Classroom” category, being honored for its innovative learning approach.
As part of a customer project, we redesigned the existing training programme for workshop employees by combining traditional, practice-oriented teaching methods with digital media. Our aim was to increase the reach and at the same time offer learners more flexibility in terms of time. Our brief was to condense the learning content and make it clearer at the same time. The challenge was to ensure individualised support for learners despite the use of digital components.
Thus, a comprehensive learning path was developed from a traditional 10-day face-to-face training to include seven modules, twelve virtual classrooms, and phases of individual learning. The digital approach is complemented by an intensive two-day face-to-face training.
By rethinking the conventional training approach, the absence of participants from the company and the high costs of travelling and accommodation can be reduced.
Claus-Dieter Fister, Manager Team Learning Concepts & Solutions, adds: “In our industry, technical training is an important component and we have shown that the fusion of digital media and face-to-face training creates an optimal learning experience. create an optimal learning experience. We are delighted to have won the eLearning Award 2024 and are proud of this team achievement.”
