mtu Sales & Service Campus

Sales and service training, any time, any place, and in any format. This was the vision of Rolls-Royce Solutions GmbH and the mtu brand, who commissioned us with supporting the implementation of a completely digital training academy within three years. This was an exciting challenge that was welcomed with open arms by our Smart Learning team, with the colleagues from MC Studios and the research team also coming on board.

The most important project phases were defined and designed in sprint sessions and then gradually realized and implemented

Today, the new mtu Sales & Service Campus is operational in the production line business and, with its six new Learning Consultants, produces eLearning and blended learning formats for the internal and external Sales & Service organization at full speed based on the defined processes.

Digital Transformation

What was challenging for you during the project?
The Covid-19 pandemic started shortly after the start of the project. The lockdown was an unexpected and new challenge for us. The face-to-face project quickly had to be converted to a digital project. Today, this is a matter of course, but it was difficult back then.

What is the take-away for you personally?
The great cooperation with the project team on equal footing, which gave us very interesting insights into another company. And our successful sprints, which were very structured and goal-oriented.

What does the future have in store?
New challenges in the field of “Future Learning” and the influence on the implemented structures – there will be a constant, dynamic adjustment of the learning culture – driven by technology.
