Testing new technologies with a slice of pizza and a cold one? That’s exactly the idea behind the series of “Usability Test Dinner” events — and in July, MC was host for the first time.
For 3 hours, 60 participants tested 13 products and services. At the test stations, the guests could try apps, websites, click dummies and concepts and converse directly with the exhibitors. Naturally, we had exciting Mercedes-Benz products there to test, such as the new configuration tool for the C Class and peer-to-peer charging for electromobility.
Why this format is so effective:
The exhibitors get direct customer feedback in a pleasant atmosphere.
The testers gain insights into new products and services. Who, for example, has already booked a service appointment at the dealership through the Wallet app?
Everyone has a chance to network with a wide array of industries and companies — from Daimler to Allianz to the chocolate company Ritter Sport — and there’s always a startup or two.
For both MC and the event organizer, Markus Merkle, the Usability Test Dinner was a complete success, and we can’t wait for the next “restaurant visit”.
