The plan was to establish the new sales assistant workplace system at dealers in key international sales markets. The system pilot was planned for two European national companies, followed by global implementation.
We needed to ensure that the conversion had only minimum impact on the operational continuity of the dealerships and support the sales processes as efficiently as possible.
Mercedes-Benz Consulting developed a global rollout concept, procedural models and strategies, which we realized during the implementation stages. Using quality assurance concepts and tools, there was an additional focus on ensuring the rollout’s long-term success.
Apart from implementing market analyses, designing processes, and advising on the setup of the market rollout organization, we analyzed and defined the entire sales process for the dealers and implemented technical system adaptations and acceptance tests. Dealer workshops, end user training programs before and after system implementation along with on-site system usage analyses assured the quality and success of the project.
