'Digital Future Sales' research project with the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht
What will the role of the traditional car dealership be in the era of digitization?
Mercedes-Benz Consulting has launched a new research project with the Automotive Management master’s program at the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Twenty-two students in the “Business Model Innovation” course under the direction of Professor Sven Henkel are engaged with exciting questions: How will a car purchase work in the future under the influence of digitization? How might the digital purchase process look? And above all: How will the customer journey change when purchasing a car with new digital influences, technologies and touch points?
At the same time, of course, the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Rechtteam is also looking into which services must be offered in the future before, during and after Internet car purchases.
The EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Rechtis not only the oldest business administration university in Germany, it is also unusually international. The project participants come from France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, India, China and South Korea. We’ll be excited to see the project group’s creative ideas and the final presentations at our site in December!
