The training concepts were aimed both at various target groups and special rollout situations. Despite the comprehensive training effort, they were meant to ensure a controlled work operation at the subsidiaries. Here the MC team could draw on its many years of expertise in training and consulting services and develop group-specific content that embraced all the processes of a car dealership. The training programs had a standardized focus for all areas and, once implemented, were adapted to individual processes.
The project’s most important success factors were professional planning of complex, parallel processes, targeted intermeshing of process definition, change management and training, implementation by very well-educated trainers with dealership experience, plus the use of a self-managing trainer team.
