In the first step, the Quizzer app was put through its paces by 30 test users at Mercedes-Benz Consulting. And it survived the high demands put on it. This set the stage for a further, much larger test phase: use of the app at the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Consulting annual kickoff event, with about 300 users. For this, every business unit at Mercedes-Benz Consulting delivered a questionnaire, including answers, on projects, topics and team characteristics. This brought together a large amount of data to feed the app. Finally, after an internal vote, Quizzer was renamed brain2gain, and its own logo followed. In January 2019, the app saw its successful official rollout at the Mercedes-Benz Consulting annual kickoff event.
Colleagues competed against one another on various topics and tried to move up in the virtual rankings. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Going forward, brain2gain will be continuously developed. More and more requests are arriving to use the app in customer projects, plus ideas on how the app can be further optimized and individually adapted to customers’ needs.
