On November 22, 2019, the eighth Digital Connect Day took place. About 75 participants listened to talks on digital topics at Daimler AG and exchanged ideas in a relaxed atmosphere at the individual market stands.
With a view toward Ambition 2039, Dominik Ochs, Manager Marketing Excellence at Mercedes-Benz Consulting, opened the event with his lecture “Sustainability Meets Digitization”. With this, he once more raised participants’ awareness of the need to integrate sustainability in all existing areas of activity.
The total of 12 introductory speeches drew great interest among the listeners, and during the breaks, the market stands were great contact points for the participants. There people could talk more about the various topics and get the latest on digital progress at Daimler AG.
Our Digital Experience Walk also had great appeal. This exploration tour makes digitization more tangible and easier to experience. At the media table in the foyer, for example, participants could meet in Interaction, be swept away in our Black Box by the possibilities of innovative brainstorming and augmented reality, dive into a world of 3D simulation in the Virtual Retail Lab, and try for themselves a wide range of exhibits in our Digital Retail Lab.
