We at Mercedes-Benz Consulting bet on innovative processes and tools to make data intelligible, so that valuable insights can be generated and recommended actions can be derived. For this, we build on our three core competence areas: consulting, IT, and data science.
How do we proceed?
Clarify goals together
Before we dive into the world of data, we and our customers draw up a needs analysis to clarify the requirements and intended use of the final product. In the next step, we collectively define how to move ahead and which tools are needed to reach the goal.
Through our comprehensive skills and many years of project experience, we can both individually advise our customers on special challenges and offer end-to-end solutions.
Create the basics for individual requirements
The next step is creating the initial basics. As storage space, we offer our customers either flexible cloud solutions or their own server-based solutions, which we set up and maintain according to the highest data protection standards.
We can use our own IT infrastructure to implement ad hoc projects without being dependent on drawn-out procurement processes. In addition, we always use the most recent software versions and the latest technologies.
Data are the raw material of every analysis. To achieve a high-quality information base, data cleansing and analysis are the alpha and omega of our work. Therefore, we use various ETL tools (Extract, Transform, Load) as well as different cleansing methods. Our methodology’s high flexibility allows us to focus on our customers’ individual requirements.
