At this year’s Automotive Dealer Day (ADD16) — the Italian automotive industry’s largest, most important B2B event — we presented teams from Customer Contact Management & CRM, along with the Digital Performance area on May 17–19, 2016, with our own trade show appearance in Verona. ADD16 is a networking platform for innovative business strategy, processes and concepts, marketing insights, international workshops, dealer conferences and trends in the automotive world. One of this year’s big themes was digital transformation in the car industry.Automated driving, customer experience, omni-channel engagement, and shared mobility were controversially discussed on stage by representatives from Uber, Google, Twitter, the OEMs and retailers.
Mercedes-Benz Consulting made an impressive, extensive, comprehensive showing in this environment with its consulting portfolio. Existing business relationships with the Italian Mercedes-Benz dealers and synergies with Mercedes-Benz Italy were expanded and strengthened for the long term. At the same time, the consultants engaged in intensive dialog with potential new customers and interested parties. Visitors responded positively to Mercedes-Benz Consulting’s overall presentation, and enriching conversations took place.
Key figures for ADD16: 4,300 participants, 15 automotive brands, 26 workshops and lectures on a space of 12,000 square meters.
